Suddenly, I'm All Excited Again

This morning, at approx 8:42 am, as I watched Am have brekky*, something dramatic happened.

I became excited about that shawl - you know, Shawl That Counting, Shawl That Mindless Garter Stitch...

.

I (finally) reached a stitch count. I've knit the last 60,000 or so stitches in an increasing daze of "decrease one stitch per row", and the prospect of changing it up somehow - ANYHOW - excites me more than words (or 60,000 knit stitches) can say. According to my math-fu, I only have about 46 rows & 18,000 stitches left. Woot!
